School opens at 9 a.m.
Lunchtime 12.45 -1.15p.m.
School closes at 2.45 p.m.

 

Another September has come around...

We welcome the new Junior Infant children and their families to the school and we wish them the very best for the future. We would also like to say Hello to all of the returning pupils and their families. 

We would also like to welcome the 4 new teachers who have started working at our school this September 2017. These are Ms. McGarry, Mrs. Cahill, Ms. Doyle and Ms. Byrne.

Slan leat agus Beannacht to one of our most dedicated and hardworking teachers Mrs Alice Slattery who retired from our staff last June after 37 years. We wish her the very best for the future. 

This year we have a new Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator. Ms. Emma Power will be busy running events such as Cookery classes, fitness sessions and storytelling workshops, etc for parents/ carers. We also have a new Family Room in the school which will be used for Parent training courses during the year. 

Maths Week runs from October 14th to 22nd 2017. The pupils really enjoy participating in the events that take place during this week. 

This Wednesday October 25th 2017 we will raise our 6th Green Flag. This flag is for Global Citizenship / Litter and Waste. We are only a handful of schools to achieve their 6th Green Flag and this is due to the wonderful efforts of our Green Flag Committee and the wider school community!
